Book a Trip
Please call me to make a reservation as soon as your plans are finalized; my calendar fills fast and I would hate for you to miss out. Many of my return clients book multiple days so that they can target several species of fish; this is a great way for you to gain the full scope of the Sarasota Gulf Coast fishery. Whether you are wanting to be a sport fisherman and catch the fish of a lifetime, or just wanting to have a pleasant "catch anything" family fishing outing, I am happy to accommodate your needs.
*Kids are always welcome, special consideration is made to make an age appropriate trip for younger anglers.
*Multiple boat trips can also be arranged for larger groups.
What I bring: I supply a large cooler with plenty of ice and bottled waters. I provide top-of-the-line fishing equipment, live bait and tackle. Safety and first aid equipment are also on board. As well as a fishing license for everyone aboard.
What you bring: You are welcome to bring your favorite rod and reel. I suggest polarized sunglasses to best see the fish. Croakie sunglass retention straps are smart to keep your shades from going for a swim when bent over the rail. Water and a white deck are great sun reflectors, so bring high powered sun- block and apply it often, and wear a hat or a visor. Sandals are the best footwear on a boat. A towel is a standard accessory. Also, consider that it is almost always quite a bit cooler cruising across the water in a boat than it is standing onshore, so anticipate your comfort level by wearing appropriate layers of clothing for the conditions. You are welcome to bring your favorite alcoholic beverages (cans and plastic please). You may want to pack a lunch and/or some snacks for the maximum fishing day. We can also take advantage of one of the local eateries on the water. And of course, bring a camera, take lots of photos, and send me copies!
Where to meet: We meet at the Sarasota City Boat ramp at 7am. Directions: From I-75 take exit 210 (Fruitville Rd, SR-780), head West for 6.3 miles. Turn Right at US-41 (Tamiami Trl), continue North on US-41 for 0.4 miles and Turn Left at 10th St. Boat docks are on the right.
Reservation Deposit: A $100 deposit will secure your spot, and your deposit will apply to the price of your trip. Last minute cancellations are non-refundable. Reasonable consideration will be made for weather and illness. Please understand that though I hate to enforce the refund policy, it exists because often more than one client wants the same day.
