Hello, I'm Captain Joseph C. Peters, owner and captain of Native Angler charters.  As a "native angler," I am fourth generation, native-born Floridian raised fishing the inland waters and offshore reefs of the Sarasota Gulf Coast.  With its many diverse opportunities for fishing a wide variety of fish in both inland and offshore environments, I consider the Sarasota area one of the most beautiful, exciting, and interesting fisheries that exist anywhere.

 My boat is a custom 23 Gausebuilt.  This boat is a fisherman's dream, providing a stable, comfortable ride and the ability to get anywhere the fish are while coming fully equipped with the best gear to handle all the Gulf Coast has to offer.  Depending on the day, we might decide to target  Redfish on the flats, or maybe head out for a day on the Gulf.  Every day for me is different out on the water, and my trips are always focused with the individual needs and desires of my clients.
